David K aka DJ Expression is a purveyor of quality music for all occasions. He loves joining the dots from dub to disco, house to hip hop and the spaces in between.

Having been a part of the Notts scene through running record stores and dj ing for nearly 30 years he has graced the decks of many famous Notts institutions including the Marcus garvey Centre, Kool Kat, The bomb and Gallery sounds to name but a few.

Currently resident as part of the infamous Kold Chillin @the angel as well as resident blend@suede for last 2 years.
Having been a lifelong vinyl junkie he has a pretty sturdy selection that crosses all genres and loves the opportunity to play eclectic sets but equally able to hone in on whatever gets the floor going.

His monthly show “Blend” on city beat is a chance to go digging and will inevitably have good grooves new and old across the spectrum of music.
